Our main Project Plooysburg
The main focus of Central Kimberley Diamonds (CKD) is the Plooysburg Project. It consists of two tenements that cover an 8.8km section of a well-preserved ancient river course (or palaeo-channel). Drilling on the tenements (132 holes) has identified an estimated 15 million tonnes of diamond bearing gravel contained within this palaeo-channel. Importantly, drilling indicates that the palaeochannel, for a greater part, is preserved "bank-to-bank", a situation that increases the likelihood of diamond preservation.
